worship arts

Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.
- Colossians 3:16 -

While we understand that worship is so much bigger than just music, Paul reminds the Colossians that there is perhaps no greater tool for affecting the heart and moving the mind to this worship of spirit and truth than psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. Christians should be a singing people! Songs help us teach and share the truth that binds us together in a common salvation, help us push each other toward deeper life in Christ, and help us individually and corporately express our gratitude to God in response to his grace.

If you feel called to join us as we lead our congregation in worship each week, there are a number of ways to get involved:

The Hills Worship Team & Band

This is an auditioned group of individuals who are experienced vocalists and/or those who are already proficient with an instrument. Our worship band is composed of piano, keys, rhythm guitar, lead guitar, bass guitar, and drums. If you are interested in auditioning either as a vocalist or an instrumentalist, email our Worship Director, Bianca Broussard.

Technical Ministry  & Production Team

The “Tech & Production team” at The Hills is always looking for people who have a heart for ministry and a desire to serve behind the scenes and help our worship services happen each week. This group helps with service production for both the live service and livestream broadcast through audio/sound, lighting, presentation slides and media, still & video cameras. No prior technical knowledge or experience is required; we will provide training as needed.

If you are interested in serving in this area, please contact our Creative Arts Director, Josh Dillard or click here to fill out the form for tech/production team.
