Here at The Hills, we believe every member and follower of Jesus should have a place of service at the church. Every Sunday presents so many opportunities for us to do the work of ministry for our church family and for all our guests. Below are some current opportunities to serve at The Hills.

First Impressions/ Connect team

One of the most important roles on Sunday mornings is our team of people who greet, direct, and show hospitality to our guests. If you can be a friendly face, a hearty handshake, and a welcoming smile, you have a place on this team! We need greeters all over our campus, attendants to help those who are  in our parking lots, and helpers who can make coffee and make people feel welcome at our church.

Kids @ The Hills

Our preschool and children’s ministry is always looking for loving, caring greeters, teachers, and classroom helpers to show the love of Christ to young families and their kids at SHBC. Please note that a background check and meeting with children’s pastor is required.
Preschool Ministry Workers (birth - K5)
Sunday 1st hour leaders - need 10 to serve weekly
Sunday 2nd hour leaders  - need 12 to serve one week/month
Sunday check-in assist - need 2 to serve one week/month
Children’s Ministry Workers (grades 1-5)
Sunday small group leaders - need 20 to serve one week/month
Sunday large group leader - need 4-6 to serve one week/month
Sunday check-in assist - need 2 to serve one week/month
Sunday Audio/Visual (sound and computer) - need 4 to serve one week/month

Tech and Production Team

If you are the type who enjoys production (or all things tech related) while serving "behind the scenes" with A/V components, then we would love having you help us produce our Sunday morning worship services here at The Hills!  We would love to be able to talk with you, and see where we can get you connected and plugged in. No previous experience required for most positions, and training will be provided as appropriate.

Some Positions Include:
- Broadcast/Live Stream Studio Engineer
- PTZ Camera Operator
- Light Board Operator
- ProPresenter Operator
- Photography 
 *(FOH is also available once trained & approved by our lead FOH Mix Engineer)
