Discipleship Groups

We believe the Bible is God’s authoritative guide for our lives. The Bible is absolutely true and provides us with His revelation of who He is. For this reason, we believe it is imperative for all believers to learn God’s Word; and how to live in accordance with what it teaches.

The best way to make this application is in a small class, which we call D-Groups (Discipleship Groups). There is simply no substitute for the encouragement, accountability, and common growth that is found in a group of friends studying together to better understand the Lord’s will for their lives.

We would love to have you join us in our desire to follow the example Jesus gave to us. We have D-Groups that meet on Sunday mornings at 9 am and 10:30 am, as well as D-Groups that meet in homes during the rest of the week. Click on one of the links below to find a group that fits your needs.

Our Men's ministry includes every adult male, extends to, and is found in every facet of worship and stewardship. It exists to provide opportunities to develop relationships, encourage accountability, and make enduring connections which promote a continual growth towards spiritual maturity; in servanthood, fellowship, authenticity, family, discipleship, and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Through this, we pray all men realize the true joy, freedom, and life found in walking with Christ, living for His kingdom, and thriving in the roles He has for us.

"Stand" Men's Ministry

What does “STAND” mean?

- an intentional act of assuming an upright position; rising with purpose, preceding movement
- an elevated platform from which to gain a unique perspective
- a stable foundation; able to resist external movement from environment or culture
- to rest, remain, or stay in a specified position

Senior Adults

"Keenager" Senior Adult Ministry

If you watch the "Antiques Roadshow" on TV, you soon learn that the older something is the more valuable it becomes. Don't we love it? There is no exact age when a person becomes a "senior." Some say 55 or 60 and others, 62. We say if you visit our group and are blessed by your experience, you are welcome! We plan all of our activities with five very important directives in mind. Here’s what we’re about:

  1. Fellowship - There are many ways to have fellowship, but our main purpose for fellowship is found in 1 John 1:7.

  2. Encouragement - All of us need to be encouraged. Seniors face many challenges as age creeps up on us (see Hebrews 10:25).

  3. Friendship - We are all about building relationships (see Proverbs 17:17).

  4. Compassion - We want to be people of compassion!

  5. Outreach - We believe our best days of making a difference are still ahead! Our Keenager Ministry offers opportunities to touch lives and make an impact for Christ.

Where do I begin?

Come join us. We are an active group, and there is something happening almost every week of the year. Check out the church calendar for the next gathering or service opportunity. You'll be amazed at how easy it is to fit in, because there are no strangers here, only friends we have not met.

If you have questions or want to know about our Senior Adult Ministries contact Joe Haselden, our Associate for Senior Ministry at 478.923.5571, or email him at
